Paul Tucker
Chief Executive Officer
Reflecting on the evolution of Turning Point Recovery Center, it is clear that the cornerstone of its success has been continuous innovation and a commitment to excellence. Our founder, Paul, has been instrumental in nurturing and guiding the center to its current esteemed status.
Paul embarked on his transformative journey armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Marylhurst College and a Master’s Degree in Experiential Therapy from the University of Wisconsin. With a commitment to fostering recovery, he inaugurated his first treatment center in 1997, which marked the beginning of a remarkable chapter in addiction rehabilitation.
Driven by a vision of elevating the quality of treatment in the fields of addictions and co-occurring disorders, Paul established Turning Point Recovery Center in 2010. Here, a superior and more integrative approach to addiction recovery has been cultivated, reflecting his continual dedication to expanding and enhancing treatment offerings. This unwavering focus aims at addressing the increasing needs in substance abuse and mental health within our community.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Paul is a passionate hand cyclist and outdoors enthusiast. He finds joy and balance through engaging in various outdoor activities, including camping, alongside his wife Rebekah and their beloved dog, Rajah. His personal interests not only fuel his spirit but also enhance his compassionate approach towards those journeying through recovery.

Dana Stratton
Director of Admissions and Detox Services
Dana brings over 30 years of experience in a diverse range of critical medical field applications, including the management of Urgent Care facilities, an Internal Medicine office, and domestic and international business development for a medical device manufacturing company.
Her work as a key member and manager of the detox team begins with her passion for helping clients advocate for themselves and being part of each client’s recovery process. She holds certificates in healthcare administration and as a medical assistant.

Director of Operations, Interim Peer Supervisor
Alaina Goff, a native of Oahu, Hawaii, discovered her passion for unraveling the complexities of human behavior early on. She honed her expertise at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with Summa Cum Laude honors and Departmental Honors.
Fueling her academic curiosity, Alaina pursued advanced studies at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, delving into the realms of Forensic Anthropology and Pathology during her Master's and PhD programs.
Intrigued by the intersection of anthropology and human struggles, Alaina's personal journey through addiction and recovery became a catalyst for her deep commitment to addiction treatment. For over a decade, she shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor in Anthropology and Biology. However, driven by her heart's calling, she transitioned her career, dedicating herself entirely to aiding individuals battling addiction since 2014.
Alaina's wealth of experience led her to pivotal roles such as Client Care Coordinator, Program Director, and Executive Director within residential addiction treatment programs. Her unwavering dedication to fostering supportive recovery environments is exemplified in her current position at Turning Point Recovery Center. As a vital member of the Turning Point team, Alaina is resolute in ensuring every facet of the facility contributes to the enhancement of a compassionate and empowering atmosphere for recovery.

Financial Director
Keith has over forty years of experience in various accounting and finance positions since receiving his MBA in Finance from the University of New Mexico. Keith has had leadership positions in some of the largest private companies in New Mexico as a Controller, VP of Finance and CFO.
Having been responsible for audits from DCAA, Sandia Laboratories, banks and outside auditors Keith understands the importance of accurate accounting processes. Keith has volunteered his time to local boy scouts and mental health providers. As a lifelong New Mexican he has enjoyed the outdoors through various backpacking trips around the state.

With expansive experience in operation management, Adam is passionate about Human Resources and going the extra mile for the employees.
Adam graduated with an MBA in HRM from Everglades University in Boca Raton, FL in 2021.
Having grown up in New Mexico, Adam is dedicated to ensuring the success of those supporting addiction recovery in Albuquerque.
Adam is always passionate about learning new things and hopes to continue outside education into his retirement.
Outside of TPRC, Adam is a history enthusiast and enjoys visiting historical sites.
Dr. J. Randle Adair, DO, PhD
Medical Director
Dr. J. Randle Adair is a seasoned medical professional with a comprehensive background in both internal and addiction medicine. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Georgetown University in 1969. He later earned a PhD in Physiology from Emory University in 1974 and pursued a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, which he received in 1997.
Upon completing his medical degree, Dr. Adair underwent Residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama, finalizing it in 2000.
His vast knowledge and dedication have earned him Board Certifications in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. His career has seen various significant roles. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Adair spearheaded the Healthcare Professionals Program at the esteemed Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation located in Newberg, OR. He later shifted his practice to New Mexico, where he currently practices Internal Medicine at the New Mexico Cancer Center. Here, he has also made noteworthy contributions as the Medical Director of the New Mexico Healthcare Professionals Wellness Program and continues to play an active role in the Presbyterian Provider Wellness Committee.
Adding to his illustrious career, Dr. Adair offers his expertise as the consulting Medical Director for the Turning Point Recovery Center in Albuquerque. Furthermore, he collaborates with SouthWest Labs and two rural New Mexican centers dedicated to providing essential services to individuals grappling with alcohol and drug dependencies.

Dr ShawnHazelwood
Psychiatrist
Dr. Hazlewood completed his residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in June 2023 and is currently an Addiction Psychiatry fellow at UNM. He joined Turning Point Recovery Center as a psychiatrist, where he specializes in assessments, medication management, and Suboxone treatment within the outpatient MAT program. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, graduating in May 2019.
Dr. Hazlewood has a keen interest in serving Native American patients and often emphasizes the psychoeducational benefits of physical fitness. Beyond his clinical practice, he actively lectures medical students and residents at the UNM School of Medicine and engages in clinical research focused on neuromodulation.
